- Abstract
The article reports on the development of anti-connexins, chemicals that obstruct cell communications temporarily. It states that the compounds were first tried with the animals and it had positive results. The author also says that it was afterwards sampled with the humans successfully. She cites five instances that proved the effectivity of the compounds to humans in dividing the healing time of wounds. Furthermore, she mentions that there are desires and studies for compounds to treat diabetic ulcers as well.
