GRINDING CIDER APPLES.
Abstract
The author describes his home-built cider press. The tool uses a hydraulic jack to provide the pressing force. It was made of old formica countertop and a stainless steel basket where the fruit goes after the press. The basket is 16 inches tall, 12 inches in diameter and kind of perforated stainless steel that the fabricator had on hand.
