- Abstract
The article discusses a study published in the North American Menopause Society journal "Menopause" which found that psychosocial stressors in a woman's life may lead to their poorer well-being and worse menopausal symptoms. Topics include the basis of the findings on data collected for Project Viva longitudinal research from Harvard Medical School and women's self-reported psychosocial stressors during their pregnancy such as past physical and sexual abuse and financial instability.
