- Abstract
The article calls upon the COP27 Climate Conference to deliver climate justice for Africa and vulnerable countries around the world. It discusses the impact of climate crisis on the environmental and social determinants of health across Africa including flooding, drought, heatwaves, reduced food production and labor productivity. Emphasis is given on the need for COP27 to support nations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, prioritize health system resilience and finance climate adaptation.
