A literary criticism of the verse dramas created by Italian author and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini between 1966 and 1969 is presented. It is inferred that the theme of exile has been a central motif in several plays of Pasolini which include "Pilade," "Bestia da stile" and "Affabulazione." It provides a brief overview on the plot of the plays.
