Widespread use of the atypical antipsychotic quetiapine has resulted in the increased possibility of its interaction with other concurrently administered psychotropic agents. For example, the antiepileptic lamotrigine, commonly prescribed for the management of bipolar disorder, has a potential drug‐drug interaction with co‐administered quetiapine..
