- Abstract
The article deals with the representation of African cosmopolitanism in the book "Oxford Street, Accra: City Life and the Itineraries of Transnationalism," by Ato Quayson. Topics addressed include the difference of Lagos with Accra, the presence of the Ga people and ethnicity in Accra, and the impact of colonialism and colonial social restructuring on Accra. The identity of the Tabon people as part of the Ga people is considered.
