The article discusses the political and social influence of several women during the 1814-1815 meeting of the Congress of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. It discusses the actions of then-Duchess of Sagan Wilhelmina Courland, Dorothea Courland, and Princess Catherine Bagration and their influence on statesmen such as then-Austrian foreign minister Klemens von Metternich, French foreign minister Charles Maurice de Talleyrand, and then-Russian tsar Alexander.
