- Abstract
Using Camellia vietnamensis flower from Hainan as raw material, ultrasonic-assist response surface method was used to optimize the extraction of total phenol in Camellia v. flower so as to obtain the optimal conditions for the extraction of total phenol. Four parameters were selected based on the material-liquid ratio, the extractant ethanol volume fraction, the ultrasonic temperature, and the ultrasonic time. The Box-Behnken central combinatorial test design method was used to explore the effects of four parameters on the yield of total phenol in Camellia v.. The results showed that when using the density of 30% ethanol as the extractant, the ratio of material to liquid is 1:600 (g/mL), the ultrasound temperature and time respectively is 60 degrees and 20min, the yield of Camellia v. flower polyphenols can be calculated as(13.03±1.34)%. Thus, it is of great remarkable to optimize the technological conditions of ultrasonic-assisted extraction of total phenols from Camellia v. flower for industrial production and comprehensive development utilization.
