- Abstract
The article presents research on the conditions by which user community collaboration is encouraged through the application of communication accommodation theory, uses linguistic style matches among digital user communities, and offers findings that suggest that linguistic style matching effects community members' participation behavior. It discusses user communities as social systems used as a business process for social integration and member collaboration, identifying trends in organizational identification, and the role of linguistic synchronicity.
