- Abstract
This paper presents a case study with students of technical drawing in the first year of the baccalaureate. The "empathy map" tool has been analysed as it is considered that it could help teachers to put themselves in their students' shoes. Teachers should anticipate a response that fits in with the different types of learning they encounter in the classroom. Through the development of empathy, they can approach the students' emotional situation and facilitate their learning and participation; it helps to understand them, taking into account both the person and their environment. From the findings obtained, it is concluded that the "Empathy Map" is a tool that favours strategies aimed at managing the classroom climate and favours learning processes.
