- Abstract
The article discusses the efforts of financial services companies in increasing their resources in handling transfer pricing compliance and tax controversy. The trend toward the development of a transfer pricing policy in line with regulatory positions and business process economics was confirmed in a 2006 survey by Ernst & Young. It states that increased tax risk has influenced tax legislative and regulatory changes. Other topics discussed include guidelines from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and corporate governance.
