- Abstract
The article investigates the possible indicators of abnormal cerebral electrical dysfunction on the H-T-P Technique, and to subjects these indicators to statistical validation. The article investigates the possible indicators of abnormal cerebral electrical dysfunction on the H-T-P Technique, and to subject these to statistical validation. The statistical-empirical analysis of the relationships between scoring categories on a prominent projective technique and the electroencephalogram (EEG) interpreted by an EEG consultant indicates that the H-T-P category "Line Quality" bears a significant relationship to the EEG as a predictor of psychopathology. In addition, the scoring categories taken together tend toward significance as predictors of imbalance of electro-cortical field. These relationships point up the need for and the direction that should be taken in further studies employing the H-T-P Technique.
