- Abstract
According to the obtained results, flaxseed extract demonstrated promising antioxidant activity as well as antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The antioxidant activity of bioactive compounds is an important aspect of their biological activity. The authors noted that microwave radiation treatment at 800 W for 60 s increased the antioxidant activity of green coffee extracts by 5.7%, while the changes in the antioxidant activity of roasted coffee extracts were insignificant.
