The article discusses the concept of full-contact pedagogy. It explains the benefits of lecturing with questions and student-centered assignments as methods for inciting self-reflexivity for faculty and students. It states that the notion that teaching is a value-based activity means that educators should strive to engage students in academic pursuits to create a moral citizenry. It outlines two student-centered techniques intended for students to replicate their own lives in the assignment. It highlights the significance of incorporating the practice of humanities and social sciences to classroom environment.
