- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 78-year-old woman with paroxysmal symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF), who was referred for ablation of AF and having massive air in the left atrial appendage (LAA). Topics discussed include exchanging of double-loop mapping catheter for a singleloop catheter to perform the pulmonary vein isolation(PVI), completion of PVI without any symptomatic complications and continuously perfusion of the transseptal sheath to prevent an air embolism.
