- Abstract
The article focuses on work done by German composer Richard Wagner. Wagner through his art and music has depicted the art scene in Germany during the 19th century. His use of music drama and depiction of Operas has been both appreciated and criticized by several people. The author is critical of Wagner's work and is not impressed with lack of emotions. Some of the works of Wagner analyzed includes theatrical production "Ring", "Parsifal" and art "Gesamtkunstwerk"
