The touristy attractions have gained importance through history. This is the case of the "La Quemada" hacienda which had the most economic prosperity in the eighteenth century. "The Quemada" hacienda is now in private hands and it represents is a natural tourist attraction for the city. The community of "Rio Laja" is located in Dolores Hidalgo CIN Gto. In this place there is a house known by the people in the community as "Las Ollitas". It has among stories of ghosts and witches a great historical value which is worth knowing worldwide. Its value comes from the date it was built, the famous "Cristeros" battle. The Catholic religion has its representative church in Santa Lucia which was built in the sixteenth century. Such church is now submerged in the dam "Peñuelas". And its architectural value can be seen when water level is low. This article also mentions a little of history from the community, belonging to the city, "El Llanito".
