- Abstract
The article focuses on the depiction of Parsi food customs in the fiction of writer Rohinton Mistry. It states that Mistry, in his writings, focuses on the state of the Parsi community in India, and their celebrations which include traditional feasts of meat, sweets and fish. It discusses the books, "A Fine Balance," "Such a Long Journey," and "Family Matters," in which Mistry depicts Parsis being connoisseurs of good food, including non-vegetarian food, and mentions a variety of their dishes.
