- Abstract
Chapter 5 of the book “Embattled Reason, Principled Sentiment and Political Radicalism: Quixotism in English Novels, 1742-1801" is presented. It analyzes Quixotism in context of the book "The Man of Feeling" by author Henry Mackenzie. It explores the concept of aristocratic ideology as against progressive ideology. It also looks at the kindness of Latitudinarian origin complemented with sympathy.
