- Abstract
In this paper we raise the problem of the initial mathematical-didactic education of prospective Early Childhood School teachers. For this open problem, and using the Anthropological Theory of the Didactics as a reference framework, we propose a possible answer in terms of a Training Path based on the dialectic between professional questions and the elaboration of possible answers. In the design and experimentation of a Training Path focused on numbers in Early Childhood Education, we have used basic constructs from the Theory of the Didactic Situations, which allow us to show the complementarity between both theories. Finally, we extract some conditions and constraints that hinder the implementation of this approach, which point out necessary changes in the initial training of teachers.
