- Authors
Zisser, Eyal
- Abstract
The article discusses how the Syrian regime, reinforced by Hizbollah fighters, succeeded in repelling the rebel offensives around Damascus, Aleppo and Homs, even recapturing villages and towns around the cities that constitute 3 strategically important centers where the battle for Syria will be decided. One such town is Qusayr which Hizbollah fighters have restored to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's control. It cites belief that the regime will succeed in surviving the revolution against it.
