- Abstract
The article presents an examination into the political culture of young adults in Québec, particularly focusing on the prevalence in supporting of the sovereignty movement, at the beginning of the 21st-century. Data from a survey of francophone Québecer youth in 2006 is reviewed and analyzed, exploring the attitudes of youth towards the political system of Canadian federalism. Conclusions are offered pointing out that members of the sovereignist movement are more unified in their support of Québec's identity than in their opposition to the Canadian federalist system.
