- Abstract
The article discusses the history and social conditions of residents of Filipino descent in Manitoba. It examines the migration history of Filipinos to Manitoba, the significance of the organization the Knights of Rizal to Filipinos in Manitoba, and the importance of religion in the migration and settlement process, particularly the revitalization of Manitoba Evangelical and Catholic churches due to Filipino participation. The article also discusses the languages utilized by Filipinos in Manitoba and community involvement among Filipinos in Manitoba.
