This essay discusses how the author introduced students to online search strategies and describes the manner in which students use the NINES digital exhibit to share their database research experiences. She describes the impact the "Punch" magazine has had on her scholarly development and her interest in Victorian periodicals. She also cites the importance of the "Punch Historical Archive, 1841-1992" online database in Victorian periodicals research.
