- Authors
Taylor-Robinson, David
- Abstract
The author comments on nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) and antibiotic-resistant mycoplasma genitalium infection. The author said that mycoplasma is usually found to persist in the urethra of men treated with tetracyclines which is responsible for some cases of persistent or chronic NGU. He further states that the treatment of NGU in patients who also have HIV positive was found no evidence to the subjects which are more susceptible to infection due to Mycoplasma genitalium.
