- Authors
Joie, Renaud La
- Abstract
In this article, the author reflects on hippocampus injury that has been in limelight in clinical neuroscience because of its vulnerability to a broad range of neuropsychiatric disorders. Topics discussed include variation in human neuroimaging data showing differential activity in anterior and posterior hippocampal regions of the brain, combining biomarkers in patients with the injury and detection of major volume loss in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.
