- Authors
Brown, Christopher R.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the restrictions imposed by the U.S. National Pork Producers Council against the U.S. Clean Water Act (CWA) enforcement. It discusses the overriding statutory purpose of CWA to maintain the physical, chemical and biological integrity of water. It gives an overview of confined animal feeding operation (CAFO) informing about its pollutants and corporate consolidation. It concludes that legally CWA is not bound to accept the restrictions of pork producers.
