The article offers information on the increasing interest in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, with a focus on licensing existing technologies and developing new processing routes for various feedstocks. Topics include the dramatic rise in SAF production, plans by DG Fuels to license Fischer-Tropsch technology to turn farm waste into jet fuel, and Firefly Green Fuels' development of a hydrothermal liquefaction process to turn sewage sludge into crude oil for jet fuel production.
