- Abstract
The article presents a case report of a 1-year-old boy suffering from acute necrotizing encephalopathy (ANE). The article reports that the CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reveal bilateral thalamic low-density areas and high-voltage semi-rhythmic delta waves indicating ANE. The article states that further investigation will be necessary to understand the pathophysiology of ANE completly.
