The article discusses positivist theories of legal ethics and the laws governing attorneys in America as of 2014, and it mentions the scope of lawyer behavior in the U.S. The views of legal philosophers John Rawls and Daniel Markovits are mentioned, along with the concept of a lawyer's zealous pursuit of a client's legal entitlements. Principles of Partisanship, Neutrality, and Non-Accountability are examined, along with the late legal theorist Ronald Dworkin's perspective on legal ethics.
