- Abstract
Objective. To know the frequency of urinary malformations associated with repetitive infections of urinary ways. Material and methods. We have done a transverse, descriptive and observational included elementary school students from 6 to 12 years old, determinating the most frequent malformations associated, (UTI) recurrent clinical presentation and isolated germs. Results. We capture 101 patients with a UTI diagnosis, 62 of which fulfilled the UTI recurrent criteria, women prevailed with 64.52%. The frequency of urinary malformations was of 24.18%. The bladder ureteral ebb reported a frequency of 33.32%. The isolated germs were gramnegatives. The urinary symptoms were the most frequently shown in the 54.83%. Conclusions. The diagnosis and adequate treatment of urinary malformations are necessary at an early stage science the association between both is frequent, thus the importance of avoiding cronical kidney failure.
