- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) finalization of a rule designating two PFAS chemicals, PFOA and PFOS, along with their salts and structural isomers, as hazardous substances under CERCLA. This designation means facilities must report releases of these chemicals and regulators have increased authority to order clean-ups.
