The article reports on the phase study which examined the ternary phases for Aluminum-Nickel-Rhenium (Al-Ni-Re) in varied isothermal sections. It notes that the metal alloys arc-melted six ternary alloys which were annealed for 1000 hours and quenched in water. It adds that the phase equilibria using metallography, electron diffraction, and energy dispersive analysis yielded a tentative liquidus projection.
