- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on Mark Morris version of "Dido and Aeneas" as a dance opera. She mentions that the version was created for the Monnaie Dance Group in Brussels, Belgium and premiered at Théâtre Varia with the musical component of Emmanuel Music conducted by Craig Smith. She says that the dance opera tells about the love of Dido to Aeneas and Aeneas despair when Dido left. She also presents the relation and portrayal of love, death, and sex in the opera.
