- Abstract
The article focuses on radiocarbon dates and faunal data recovered from the CA-SLO-585 archaeological site in San Luis Obispo County in California. It notes that CA-SLO-585 along with archaeological site CA-SLO-2 presented radiocarbon evidence that the area has been occupied as early as circa (ca.) 9,000 radiocarbon years before present day (B.P.) until the Holocene period. Archaeologist Roberta Greenwood was able to determine four radiocarbon dates from the site. Faunal remains from the site include those of birds, mammals, reptiles and fishes.
