- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 50-year-old woman who received endoscopic treatment of calcific tendinitis in the hip. She has a history of intermittent left hip pain and received multiple conservative treatments. It is noted that although the first line treatment of calcific tendinitis should be medication, local injection or extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), endoscopic surgery may be an option in case of intractable calcific tendinitis in the hip.
