- Abstract
The article offers information about the iCub Number 1, which is a robot designed to help researchers understand how human learn and think. It mentions that the robot is created with sufficient movement capabilities that would replicate the learning process that a child goes through. It relates that such actions and interactions are essential in shaping the rapidly growing brain of children and to know what happens to the brain when it learns new stuff. It relates that there have been greater evidence which proved that visuo-motor processing and manipulation are crucial in higher cognitive development.
