- Abstract
The current study aimed to figure out the role of the practices of the green HR management in enhancing the mental image of the Jordanian industrial companies. The study was applied in the academic year 2019/2020 and the study sample consisted of (105) employees and managers in the HR departments of the Jordanian industrial companies who were randomly selected from the study community, whose validity and reliability were confirmed. After conducting the statistical analysis, the results of the study showed that there is a medium level for the degree of practicing the green HR management in the industrial companies from the point of view of their employees, a positive mental image for the Jordanian industrial companies from the point of view of their employees, and finally that there is a role for the practices of the green HR management with its dimensions of (analysis and design of the green job, green polarization, green compensations, and health and safety) in the mental image of the industrial companies from the point of view of their employees. The study recommended that the industrial companies should take into account conducting a functional analysis through environmentally friendly under the supervision of experts in the management to follow up measuring the efficiency of applying the environmental standards in the functional analysis, and the need for the industrial companies to take care of attracting candidates with environmental trends in order to achieve their environmental role through asking questions related to the environment in the personal interviews.
