- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that investigates whether riparian land use affects hydraulic transport in headwater stream in agriculturally fragmented watershed. It states that 50-meter reaches, one in agricultural land use and another in forested land use along three headwater streams in the Upper Sugar Creek Watershed in northeast Ohio were identified for the study. Results show that macrophytes in the agricultural reaches allow in-stream storage capacity near the banks.
