The article discusses the relations between Darwinism and Lamarckism with regard to the theory of evolution. Topics include the Darwinian law of natural selection that applies to the first stages in the establishment of forms or species, the Lamarckian factors of change, need and habit and of use and disuse and the support of other prominent scientists on the Darwinism.
