- Abstract
【Objective】 To investigate the differences in yield and cadmium(Cd)accumulation and distribution between ratooning rice from different nodes and main crop in Cd polluted paddy field to provide scientific basis for the safe production of ratooning rice. 【Method】 A conventional rice variety Xiangzaoxian No.45 and a hybrid rice variety Y Liangyou 9918 were used as materials to determine the yield and yield components of ratooning rice from different nodes, as well as the differences in Cd content, accumulation and Cd accumulation rate in different organs at different stages of ratooning rice from different nodes, and analyze the difference between main crop and ratooning rice. 【Result】 The yield contribution rates of ratooning rice from the 4 thand 5 thnodes from the top to total yield were the highest, which were57.84% and 43.01% respectively for Xiangzaoxian No.45 and Y Liangyou 9918, and the biggest factor affected yield was effective panicles. From full heading stage to maturity, Cd content in panicles of main crop of Xiangzaoxian No.45 and Y Liangyou 9918, and ratooning rice of Y Liangyou 9918 showed a transition from decrease to increase. The Cd content in brown rice of ratooning rice was higher than that of main crop in Xiangzaoxian No.45, while Y Liangyou 9918 showed a reserved trend. In the ratooning season of the two varieties, the Cd content in each organ was basically the highest at low node, and the expression of Y Liangyou 9918 was decreased with node level increasing. The biggest Cd accumulation amount and daily Cd accumulation rate in panicle of main crop and ratooning rice of the two varieties occurred at mid-filling stage to maturity. 【Conclusion】 To develop ratooning rice in Cd polluted area, rice varieties should be selected reasonably, and the higher stubble height is needed, which is advantageous to decrease Cd content in brown rice of ratooning rice.
