- Abstract
The article presents a case study of acetophenone azine which has been identified as new shoe allergen causing severe foot dermatitis. It highlights the case of a 29-year-old non-atopic male hockey player who was referred for evaluation of dermatitis in both legs, which commenced shortly after wearing a new pair of shin pads lined with grey foam. It provides explanation of the patient's condition and the factors that caused the allergy.
