The article the example of regional economic development in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Topics discussed include the difficulties of the development demanded the direct inference of the government in the areas of industry and agriculture development; and the development of the regions at the borders from central resources was completed with the same tools and was based on the same office apparatus.
