- Abstract
The article presents a case study where a compressive macrocystic congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) was detected on 30 week ultrasound in a female fetus. Her diagnosis was confirmed by fetal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She had the signs of moderate respiratory distress and the need for oxygen therapy. Somatic mutation of the KRAS gene was detected in the mucinous lesion.
