The article informs that shortcomings in rosacea diagnosis and classification. Topic disued inlude re-evaluation to incorporate current scientific knowledge and address shortcomings in guiding diagnosis and classification of rosacea; distinctive histological, immunohistochemical features and selective differences at the transcriptome level for the three cutaneous subtypes of rosacea and criteria for rosacea diagnosis and grouping into common presentations or subtypes.
