- Abstract
Information is presented on the conference on the French-born Quaker and abolitionist Anthony Benezet in the Atlantic Ocean region during the 18th century, sponsored by the Université Paris Diderot of Paris, France and Université Paris 8-Vincennes, held at the former university from May 30, 2013 through May, 31, 2013. Topics, including Benezet's genealogy, his family's emigration to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and abolitionism, are discussed.
