- Abstract
The article examines the popularity of the 1985 time-travel science fiction film "Back to the Future." The film was compared to other time-travel films such as "The Connecticut Yankee at King Arthur's Court," "The Sky Splitter" and the 1960 H. G. Wells's adaptation of "The Time Machine." The ideas of the late personality theorist Carl Jung were examined in relation to the phenomena of connecting the film with so many different personalities.
