- Abstract
The article offers information on the study conducted on the presence of Asterina fungi on members of Myristicaceae plants in Kerala, India. As mentioned, Myristicaceae is found in South East Asia and northern Australia, and a black coloured fungus, Asterina is found to infect these plants in Kerala. Brief information on various species of Asterina which were found on these plants is also given which includes, Asterina knemae attenuatae, Asterina myristicae, and Asterina myristicacearum.
