- Abstract
The article presents a case report of a 51-year-old man and a 15-year old boy who were observed with giant platelets and moderate thrombocytopenia in peripheral blood smear. The platelets were characterized as spindle-shaped in the neutrophils and eosinophils' cytoplasmic periphery. It says that this case report revealed a May-Hegglin anomaly in both patients which is a dominant inherited disorder.
